I’ve spent the past few weeks shopping for new inventory items for my booth at The Pickers Market. Restocking a booth is like finding items for your home. It takes a while to capture just the right look you’re after. I found this three-drawer nightstand a few weeks ago. I painted it with two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg. A lot of my customers have beach cottages or live in condos. I can imagine this nightstand tucked between two iron beds covered with sun-drenched quilts.

One of the goals I have for this year is to get my home more organized and the spaces more functional. I’ve been working toward this goal off and on for several years and I made a lot of progress in 2014. As you can see here, the hall closet really needed to be a priority and I decided to reorganize it for games and craft supplies.
I hope you guys had a happy weekend. I was able to spend it celebrating with my family, which, always feels like the best gift.
