I’ve made a few easy transitions from Christmas décor to winter décor that I wanted to pass along. I know the holiday decorations need to come down but I don’t want to give up the excitement of snuggling up under a warm blanket to read a magazine, having a cup of hot cocoa by the fire or relaxing with popcorn and a movie. Here are a few easy ways I changed things up without losing all of the elements I love about winter.
I feel like I’m finally getting back into the swing of things on the blog, at home and restocking items at my booth at The Pickers Market. I’ve even started training for a 15K run. I decided to make a scrub that would help kick start my morning routine. This Rise and Shine sugar scrub uses 5 ingredients: grapefruit, orange, clove, oil and sugar.
I decided I was going to have a Lumberjack Party so that I could keep a continuous holiday spirit and celebrate into the New Year.
As soon as November hits, I’m ready for cold weather. I’m ready to sit by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate after creating the perfect holiday concoction from my hot drink bar.
I didn’t want to give up on the idea of having my own set of moose plates and after searching Pinterest I found a way to design them using Sharpie permanent markers!
For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted a farmhouse style table. A table that was long enough to fit my entire family, which has now grown to 12.
